Pioneering Sri Lanka’s Space Era
RAAVANA (Regulatory Authority for Astronomical Voyage and Aeronautical Navigation Administration) is Sri Lanka’s first private space agency, marking the nation’s bold step into aerospace innovation, satellite technology, and space exploration.
Managed by Buldosoft Corporation, RAAVANA is dedicated to advancing Sri Lanka’s presence in space through cutting-edge research, spacecraft development, and international collaborations.

Inspired by Ancient Legends
The name RAAVANA is inspired by King Ravana, a legendary figure in Sri Lankan history and Hindu mythology, who is believed to have possessed advanced aviation and space technology, as mentioned in ancient texts.
